Wednesday and Thursday Practice Matches
Match fees are $25. (starting in 2024 shooters only paid one match fee, and are no longer required to pay Thunder Gun Range)
If we have classifiers set up as stages, below are the addition fees that are required with the range fee and the club fee. These addition fees are based on a per registered competitor, per division basis:
- $3 for 1 classifier
- $4 for 2 classifiers
- $5 for 3 classifiers
- $6 for 4 classifiers
- $6.5 for 5-6 classifiers
These matches are where we practice the basic skills required to safely and accurately shoot defensive handguns. We do this by breaking into 8-10 person “squads” and shooting five separate stages (shooting scenarios). Each stage requires 12-32 rounds and may include reloading, shooting around barricades, shooting with one hand, and other skills that challenge the shooter.

by clicking here. - New (or first-time) shooters must arrive by 6 pm for a New Shooter’s Orientation. TTS staff will review stage designs, the range commands, safety topics, and other issues that you’ll confront in the weekly match.

TTS Match Payments And Membership Fees
In order to improve the match registration efficiency at the matches, starting on January 1, 2024, Thunder Tactical Shooters club will require online payments for all scheduled club matches and practice matches. The club will not have funds at the range to provide ‘change’ during the match check-in period.
Match payments will be made during the standard Practiscore registration process. Once registered, the shooter will be approved for the match only after the payment is recorded. The club uses the Practiscore's online payment system (Stripe).
Refunds will be issued for all cancelled matches and for participants that withdraw from a match by the following times:
- 5:00 pm on Tuesdays before the Wednesday practice matches.
- 5:00 pm on Wednesdays before the Thursday practice matches.
- 5:00 pm on Thursdays before the 2nd Saturdays USPSA matches.
In addition, the 2024 TTS club membership/insurance fee of $55 per year will be available for anyone participating in club scheduled matches; payment for the club membership will be made online at https://practiscore.com/clubs/thunder-tactical-shooters/membership/join .
Club membership includes a $5.00 discount on all TTS matches.
Also, as per international organization rules, TTS will require all shooters to be members of affiliated organization, either USPSA https://uspsa.org or IDPA https://www.idpa.com. These memberships are paid and renewed through the respective organization's website.
